Prostrate Cancer And Yoga

When dealing with prostate cancer, yoga has been known to provide much relief in the form of alternative cancer cure. While it can help prevent occurrence of prostate cancer, if God forbid someone has developed, the spread can be checked by incorporating a small yoga regimen. 1. Baddha Konasana (Bound Angle Pose): The asana increases blood supply  to the lower body region including the pelvis, kidneys, prostate and bladder and brings awareness and energy into the root lock.

2.  Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward Facing Dog): A very effective pose it provides strength to the arms & legs. It provides length to the spine and opens the chest and lungs.

3.  Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose): Another powerful pose that can be practiced for countering prostate problems. This asana improves blood and supply of hormones to the kidneys. It provides stimulus to the bladder, the kidneys and the sex glands.

4.  Supta Padangusthasana (Reclining Big Toe Pose): The asana provides relief from backache while stretching the hips and the hamstrings. It allows energy to flow towards the kidneys and the bladder.

5.  Paripurna Navasana (Boat Pose): The asana tones the kidneys, the abdomen and strengthens the lower back.
